a humongous leap across a dam. There was an enormous hill that they pedalled down and hit the
jump violently. The wind was blowing harshly in their faces which made it harder for them to
concentrate. Suddenly a baby squirrel was scurrying across the track and was in the way of the
cyclists. They were trying to get it away before they got badly injured.
Reaching the rock garden, they skilfully hopped through the rocks and they and saw the finish
line... Glory! They'd done it!

Alfie and Matty thank you for taking part this week. You have used a wide variety of sentences in your writing; I especially like the description of the "fully grown trees" and the violent jump - it makes me want to pull out my bike! I'd love to find out more about the squirrel and the injury.
